new type of journey to begin.

Well I did not do so well with keeping up this blog last year. I just read back to the posts I did do and I have continued to try. A few bumps in the road but I am determined. I did make a decision over the course of last summer and started acting on it in the fall. I will have gastric bypass surgery soon. I have gone through all the testing required and sleep studies and doc followed weight loss attempts that the insurance company requires. Things are awaiting insurance approval now and I am impatiently waiting this. I still have to lose the rest of the 50 pounds that the surgeon requires of me before surgery but I have made a good dent in that. I got derailed a bit with a death in my family and the holidays but I am back on track. I will post the ugly truth once I go to weigh again, no secrets here.
